Work closely with the Shanghai based China Sales Director to ensure that all marketing and sales plans are consistent with Group’s and Asia’s objectives and initiatives.
Develop practical regional sales plans. Manage sales activities to achieve sales and financial targets, including coordination of training and customer education programs.
Build, develop, motivate and retain a competent sales team for the North China market. Provide training and coaching to the team members.
Work with the marketing department to develop the optimized marketing plans to create brand awareness in the targeted market segments in the region.
Perform market surveys, analyze product-selling trends and prepare the most realistic & accurate sales forecast.
Develop and train a network of distributors to effectively promote and sell company’s products, to provide quality after sales services and to achieve sales targets.
Develop and maintain a high level relationships with project developers, design institutes, interior designers, architects and government officials/bureaus.
Maintain effective communications with the customers, distributors and sales network.
Monitor the total market activity of the region and provide assessments reports on the performance of each distributor to the management and take appropriate actions whenever necessary.
Research and study pricing and margins situation of competitors and recommend the appropriate course of action.
Monitor closely the market trend & product demand and feedback to the relevant parties for establishing the most appropriate product portfolio for the region.
Implement customer payment and credit policies and ensure collection the money due from customers in accordance with the terms of sales

University degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Engineering or other related areas of study.
Minimum 6 years of solid work experience in sale and marketing of premium lighting or high quality building construction materialsor consumer durables related to household category of which 2 years in a regional sales management role most preferably in the region of North China.
Solid experience and knowledge of sales management system and selling process implementation.
Sound knowledge of lighting control systems a plus.
Experience in establishing and managing a sales organization and distribution network in China is an asset.
Multi-national/ cultural exposure in the past a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese required
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong management and organization skills; Must be a leader and also a team player;
Able to conduct business with high level of consistency and integrity.
